The discourse on uncanny valley and horror in pony paintings has always been part of my work for better or worse (and sometimes without my own intention), it is a frustrating and conceptually arduous journey of discovery (sometimes of one’s own self) which rarely even pays off in terms of satisfaction with the medium.
